The test management system has been established according to ISO/IEC 17025：2005 General Requirements for Testing and Calibration Ability. On May 11, 2007, The Product Development Test Lab was officially approved as national-level test lab by China State Conformity National recognized organization. It also obtained the key laboratory qualification in Shandong Province.
The Test Center covers an area of 1841 square meters, owns over 30 sets of test equipments, such as engine test bed, engine emission test system, piston pin bore fatigue test machine, scanning electron microscope, energy disperse spectroscopy and so on, most of which are imported from AVL Austria, FEV Germany, HORIBA Japan, IST Germany, OXFORD UK, etc. It has more than 20 test personnel, including 1 doctor, 3 masters, 6 undergraduate professional people, 3 junior college people, and 11 Intermediate title staff, one of whom is researcher, two of whom are senior engineers, three of whom are senior technician and 5 of whom are engineers. Years of construction and development, engine performance and material experiment abilities with wide range of power and high precision equipment have been created.
More than 30 tests can be performed in our Test Center, including comprehensive engine performance test, engine emission test and reliability test, piston volume stability test, piston type approval test, piston scuffing test, piston top thermal fatigue test, piston pin bore and boss fatigue test, Engine parts and the surface temperature distribution test, material strength, hardness, chemical composition, metallographic structure, linear expansion coefficient and micro-area chemical analysis, which can meet the test requests of below 520 KW, 2500 Nm diesel engine, below 250kW, 576Nm gasoline engine, and perfect physical and chemical metal material test.
Meanwhile, the Test Center has self-independent designed and developed natural gas engine test using natural gas pipeline pressurization system. Some of natural gas tests have been finished, such as the product development, performance optimization and reliability projects for Guangxi Yuchai Machinery, Dongfeng Cummins Co, Sinotruk and Weichai Power.
The Test Center serves the customers in strict accordance with the quality policy of Honest, Fair, Science and timeliness. Some engine reliability, new product development and piston single tests have been accomplished for domestic OE customers, such as Tianjin Perkins, DEUTZ(Dalian) Engine Co, Wuxi Diesel Engine Co, Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel Co, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery, Shang Diesel Engine Co, Chery Motors, Nanjing Fiat, Jiangling Auto, Dongfeng Cummins Co, etc. Meanwhile, we have carried on many engine test and development test for VW Germany, which won high reputation.
